Manage User Permissions
Learn how to configure access levels and permissions for users in your Planeasy account.
User Roles
The platform has three main user roles:
Administrator
- Full access to all features
- Can create and delete users
- Manages financial settings
- Configures integrations (WhatsApp, SMS, Email)
Operator
- Can create and edit contacts
- Can send messages
- Can view reports
- Cannot access financial settings
Viewer
- Read-only access
- Can view contacts and reports
- Cannot edit or send messages
- Cannot access settings
How to Change Permissions
1. Access the Users Page
Navigate to Users in the menu.
2. Locate the User
Find the user you want to edit in the list.
3. Click "Edit"
Click the edit icon (pencil) next to the user.
4. Change Role
Select the new role from the "Role" dropdown.
5. Save
Click "Save" to apply the changes.
Important Notes
- Changes take effect immediately
- The user will be notified by email
- You cannot change your own permissions
- At least one administrator is required
Security Tips
- Assign only necessary permissions
- Review permissions regularly
- Use the Viewer role for external users
- Keep sensitive data restricted to administrators
